I just received an obit from Cambria County that gave me some new
information. I haven't had a chance to post for a while so perhaps a
connection will materialize from my new information.

I have discovered that my great great grandfather Samuel ROWLAND/ROWLANDS
had brothers who also came to the US & I thought I'd throw their names
out there just in case they connect with any other ROWLAND researchers on
the list.
My Samuel b abt 1833 Abergavenny, Gwent SW
married Rebecca Powell 9 June 1861 Nantyglo Monmouthshire Co Wales
He lived in Houtzdale, Clearfield Co PA before moving to Cambria CO circa
1896
Samuel was a Mine stable boss at the Conemaugh Slope of the Cambria Steel
Company at the time of his death-still working at 78 years of age.
Samuel died Dec 22 1911 Conemaugh, Cambria Co PA
Brothers:
Owen ROWLAND living Punxautawney in 1911
John ROWLAND living Madera PA in 1911
Hugh ROWLAND living Broad Top PA in 1911
There may even have been other siblings also in the US who died previous to
my Samuel.

John ROWLAND of Ohio-my great grandfather who settled in Trumbull Co Ohio
1911-12
Rebecca who married Harry PRINGLE & they were living in Echo in 1911. I
haven't looked for that town as yet
Bertha & Cassie who were living at home in 1911
George ROWLAND of Youngstown Ohio in 1911
