Dear Lantzy family, relatives and listers,

Many people have asked about Charles and I would like to give you an update.
I spoke with Joann Owens Donaldson, his step-daughter today.

To those of you who are new to genealogy, you may not know him, but you may
be familiar with his many books. Also many people quote him as a source.
Charles A. Lantzy has done a lot of family research and has shared it with so
many. He will be 102 on 21 Jan 2004. There are many interesting stories in some
of his books which can be found at the Cambria Historical Society.

So for those of you who would like to send him holiday greetings, or a
birthday card in Jan.
