I am researching my ancestor Felix Short who arrived in Carrolltown, Cambria Co, PA as of 1840 and had a large Catholic family there. Felix was born 1799 in Erigal Kieran, Northern Ireland.

Also researching Josephine Luther, d/o Jacob C. Luther, s/o William Luther, s/o Conrad Luther who arrived in Cambria Co around 1810.

Also researching Sophia Elder, d/o John Elder and Mary Ann Myers. John was s/o Walter Elder and Priscilla Elder. Mary Ann Myers was daughter of John Myers, but we don't know WHO exactly John Myers, Maier, Moyer was. There is great confusion on this point.
There was a Sherrif Myers of Cambria Co. which is supposed to be connected to Mary Ann in some way.

These are my Cambria Co roots and I would be glad to share info with anyone connected to them.
