John Luther b 1800, my GGgf m MaryAnn Platt dau of John Platt and Sarah Byrne.
The Loreeto Marriage record gave no maiden name for MaryAnn . Someone LATER
filled in erroneously Byrne instesd of Platt. Byrne was her Mothers maiden
name. This error causes a lot of controversy. My grandfather was 20 yrs old when
she, his grandmother died and his notes say MaryAnn Platt.
Most info on Conrad at rootsweb are the old myths and not cold hard research.
This is not the only error in these old records , Kittle index filled in by
word of mouth in the late 1800's is a good example.
