My Great Uncle Baltzer Dishong, of Jackson Twp., Cambria County, PA, died in
Andersonville Prison on Sept. 14, 1864. His father, Paul Sheridan Dishong,
Sr., my great-great grandfather raised Baltzer's three children to maturity
on pension money from the Federal Government. This was all documented in
Paul's will.
