Just thought I would put my small amount of family info out there and see
if anyone has a connection. My great great grandmother was Hannah MATHA
(MATHER?) from Haswell England, born 1863, died 1932 in Barnesboro, Cambria
County PA. She was married to Samuel GILROY. They had three children:
Hannah, Margaret and Mary Ann. Hannah GILROY, born in 1891 in Murton
England and died in 1972 in Spangler, Cambria County PA. She was married to
John THORNTON, born 5/5/1891 in Pennsylvania and died 7/25/1934 in Barr
Township Pennsylvania. They had a daughter Evelyn. Evelyn was born 9/1/1914
in Barnesboro, Cambria County PA and died 10/20/1978 in Spangler, Cambria
County PA. Evelyn married J Meredith DAVIS.
Sam and Hannah GILROY's other daughter Mary Ann GILROY married Thomas
THORNTON. He was born in 1878 and died in 1941 in Barnesboro, Cambria
