The Wesley Chapel Church was a Methodist Church started in the mid 1800's by
the Hunt, Angus, and other families. It was originally referred to as the
Hunt Church.

William R. Gochnour is buried in Headrick Cemetery, where an old church
still stands. Perhaps he attended this church. According to Henry Wilson
Storey, it was used by various denominations.

This cemetery was carved out of a piece of property purchased by William's
grandfather, Daniel Gochnour, in the late 1700's. Generations of Gochnours
were raised on this farm, including William's brother, Hiram; so probably
William was raised there too. Hiram attended the Conemaugh Brethren Church.
