Seeking help in finding the following: Jabes Young was married to Frances Pittman, Frances died in 1897. Frances and Jabes had the following children: Malissa Young and Laura Fay Young. Jabes remarried in 1897 to Elizabeth Porter daughter of Jacob and Susan Barker.
Malissa Young married Mathias Smith Phillips on February 6,1907. At the time of marriage Malissa had a son named Clarence who was born in 1903. Clarence believed that Mathias was his father, but it is now thought that he was not. At the time Clarence was born, Mathias was married to another woman and all ready had 5 children. There is no birth registration to be found. I do not know what church they attended to try and find a baptismal certificate. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Also it anyone is researching any of the above names please contact me.
