Hi Everyone,

I hope this helps some of you. There is a book named United We Stand. Also
I've found three websites that have been helpful to me.They are: http:// www.coolguitars.com/coalinks.html ,
theoldminer.virtualave.net, and http://www.coalregion.com/links.htm

I would also like to know the name of that book, and any other book
which might contain names of coal miners. My gr-gr-grandfather (from
Wales) was also a coal miner. His name is William E
Williams. He might have been a miner in Clearfield as well, does
anybody know of a book or website or other resource which contains miners' names
from other counties besides Cambria?

Thanks,

Phyllis

My apologies to the list. I've been trying to

contact Janet Folajtar off list, however, my mail

is being returned stating it is undeliverable.

Janet mentioned in a posting dated May 28, 1999

that she was in possession of a Centennial Book

which included the names of coal mines in the

Cambria Co. district and also the names of the

miners. I was hoping to discover if my

grandfather's name was mentioned in this book.

Perhaps Janet is still subscribed and could get in

touch with me off-list - and/or does anyone else

have this type of info.
