The most important evidence here seems to be the 1828 sale of Michael J.
and Margaret to his brother Luke, of Allegheny Twp property apparently
acquired in 1813. The 1813 purchase by Michael J. will be needed, if I am
following this right.
Here is some more I have on him:
1801 Sponsored baptism of niece Rachel McGuire at St. Michael's Church,
Loretto, Pa.?
1804 Sponsored baptism of Bridget Barnicle at St. Michael's Church,
Loretto, Pa.?
1810 Sponsored baptisms of Michael McAfee and Thomas Burke at St. Michael's
Church, Loretto, Pa.
1810-1815 Tax Rolls
1811 Pascal Confession
1831 Michael McQuire paid $1.00 per day as an Axeman on the Portage
Railroad, according to 30 Nov 1831 payment schedule published in
Baumgardner & Hoenstine's The Allegheny Old Portage Railroad?
