14 Sep 1796 Philip GROSCH of Hemfield Twp, Lancaster County, yeoman, and
Margaret, his wife, to Samuel GROSCH of Warwick Twp, Lancaster County, clerk.
Land: One full undivided half part of a certain 401 3/8 acre tract called
"Three Run Tract", situate on the waters of the south fork of the Laurel Run
in Quemahoning Twp, Bedford County, bounded by Abraham DEHUFF, Alexander
GRAF, Jacob GRAEFF, John GRAEFF, Henry MUSSER, and Daniel WITMER. It being
the same tract which the commonwealth granted to Philip GROSCH by patent
dated 15 Jul 1786 and recorded in Patent Book #6, page 362. Witnesses:
Rudolph LICHTENTHALER, Peter GROSCH, and Peter BOMBERGER (Each signed in
German) Price 200

02 May 1797 (Mortgage) John DOUGLAS, Cambria County, Yeoman, to Samuel
PLEASANTS, Philadelphia City, merchant. Whereas John Douglas, Emmor BRADLEY
and Caleb HANNUM, by bond dated 02 May 1798 are jointly and severally bound
for 200 in gold or silver money of Pennsylvania; conditioned for payment of
100 plus lawful interest by 02 Jul next. And John DOUGLAS is bound by another
bond dated 02 May 1797 for 646 13s 2d; conditioned for payment of 232 6s 7d
by installments: 123 13s on 17 May 1797, 100 on May 1808, and 100 on 17 May
1809, together with lawful interest. Land: 305 acre tract called "The
Seasons", with all buildings thereon, situate on Clearfield Creek, Bedford
County (now Cambria County), bounded by William SITGREAVES Witnesses: Emmor
BRADLEY and Caleb HANNUM.
