Louis, married Monday, 30th ult, in St. Louis, by Rev. Mr LUTZ (Tuesday, 28
Jun 1836)
MAGEHAN, Michael Daniel Esq, of Ebensburg and Mary GLASS, daughter of George
of near Munster, married Tuesday, 23 ult, by Rev D A GALLITZIN
MAGEHAN, Roselia, daughter of M.D. Esq, of this place, died Monday last, aged
abut 2 years. This is the second child death has taken from Mr MAGEHAN

MAGUIRE, Luke, lately of Huntingdon County, died at his residence in
Clearfield Twp, on Monday last, of smallpox (Thursday, 26 May 1836)

of John of Munster, Cambria County, married Thursday, 31st ult, by Rev

MATTHEWS, Robert, son of William of Conemaugh Twp, died Saturday, 4th ins,
aged about 15 years, (Thursday, 16 Feb 1832)
MELOY, Sarah, wife of James, died in Ebensburg Saturday morning, 4th inst, in
her 26th year. She left 3 children, one but a week old. She was buried
Sunday, 5th, at the Independent Congregational Church (Tuesday, 14 Feb 1837)
MILLER, Reverend John, of Bedford County and Susan MACK, daughter of George
of near Ebensburg, married Thursday last, by Rev Benjamin DAVIS (Tuesday, 02
Aug 1836)
MILLS, ??? and his wife and two children drowned in Bolivar, 6th inst, found
in 1st Canal above Blairsville (Thursday, 28 Jul 1831)
MILTENBERGER, John Esq, of Conemaugh Twp, Somerset County, died Thursday last
while helping Rev C RABENOCK and family move from their former residence in
Shade Twp, Somerset County, to the house of Jacob MILTENBERGER in Cambria
County. He was killed near LEVISTONE's Mill when his wagon ran against an old
decayed tree, which falling, struck him and so injured him as to cause his
death in 2 hours. His brother Jacob who was walking close by his side,
narrowly escaped the same fate. The deceased was about 35 years old and had
been acting Justice of the Peace for several years. (Thursday, 28 Nov 1833)
MONAHAN, ?????, woman, died Monday last by a train passing over her at Plane
#10 of the Portage Railroad (Thursday, 19 June 1834)
MOORE, Samuel, brother of Johnston MOORE of this place, died at
Hollidaysburg, Saturday last, in his 36th year. Mr. MOORE has long been
afflicted with pulmonary complaint, and under expectation of relief, traveled
to the south and resided during the last winter in St. Augustine, Florida. He
had returned to his friends only for a few days, to leave them forever

MOORHEAD, J B, formerly of Cambria County and Elizabeth HIRONS, daughter of
John Esq of Wilmington, Del, married Tuesday morning, 7th of February, by Rev
William C RUSSELL (Tuesday, 01 Feb 1837)
MOORHEAD, James McKee, died Tuesday afternoon last, 8th of November, inst,
aged 13 yr 7m 27d. He was trampled by a horse in the vicinity of Indiana
Borough. He was the eldest son of Alexander Thompson MOORHEAD of Centre Twp,
Indiana County (Tuesday, 15 Nov 1836)
MORRIS, Griffith, died yesterday morning, near Ebensburg, aged about 25 years

MORRIS, Maurice, died Tuesday last, near Ebensburg, aged about 21 years,
being the 5th brother that died within 3 months (Thursday, 18 Oct 1832)
MORRIS, Richard, died 11 inst, near Ebensburg, aged about 30 years (Thursday,
20 Sep 1832)
MORRIS, Rowland, died 8th inst, near Ebensburg, aged about 28 years. Several
family members died within a few weeks. He was a late emigrant from Wales

MOWER, George and Mrs. ???? PATTERSON, both of Conemaugh Borough, married
Thursday last by Christian HORNER Esq (Thursday, 01 Aug 1833)
MOYER, Adam, of Summerhill Twp. died on Sunday last, in attempting to get
into or out of a railroad car, whilst underway. He was struck severely in the
groin with some part of the car and thrown down. The wheels passed over one
of his legs and shattered it dreadfully. He lingered in a great deal of pain
until Monday and then expired (Thursday, 01 May 1834)
MULLEN, Michael, of Indiana County, died Tuesday, aged 92 years. He was a
Revolutionary War soldier (Thursday, 16 Jan 1834)
MUNDON, James, of Pittsburgh and Nancy EVANS, of Ebensburg, married Thursday
last, at Ebensburg, by Rev George ROBERTS (Thursday, 04 Jul 1833)
MYERS, Jacob Jr., of Somerset Borough, and Lucinda LEVERGOOD, daughter of
Peter Esq of Conemaugh Borough, married Thursday last by Rev F HEYER
