County, married Thursday, 13 Apr, at Hollidaysburg by Rev David Sterret of
Manor Hill (Tuesday, 02 May 1837)
GALLAGHER, Hugh Esq, died Friday last at Frankstown, Huntingdon County. He
lived in Clearfield Twp, Cambria County (Thursday, 22 Dec 1831)
GALLAGHER, James, aged about 78 years, died 4th inst at his residence in
Allegheny Twp, Cambria County, after a lingering illness. (Tuesday, 18 Apr
1837)
GARBER, David, of Jefferson, Cambria County and Eliza POWER, daughter of
General Samuel POWER of Beaver, Pa married Tuesday, 22nd inst (Thursday, 31
Jan 1833)
GEGAN, Thomas (Reverend), a native of County West Meath, Ireland, late Curate
of the Roman Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, died Monday last at Newry, aged
36 years. Interred at the Catholic Cemetery at that place (Thursday, 18 Jul
1831)
GEORGE, Adam and Elizabeth PATTERSON, both of Jackson Twp, married Thursday
last by R LEWIS, Esq (Thursday, 10 Sep 1835)
GEORGE, Philip, aged 68 years, died Tuesday last at his residence in
Summerhill Twp (Thursday, 28 Mar 1833)
GILELAND, James C Esq, late editor of the "Pittsburgh Times", died Wednesday
night, 16th inst (Tuesday, 29 Nov 1836)
GILLIAN, Mary Ann, wife of Michael, of Summerhill Twp, aged about 21 years,
died Wednesday, 12th inst (Tuesday, 20 Feb 1834)
GILLIAN, Michael, of Summerhill Twp, was crushed between two cars of the
Portage Railroad and instantly killed on Monday last. He was sitting on the
front part of a train of cars with several others. Left 4 small children,
their mother having died only a few weeks since (Thursday, 19 June 1834)
GILLINS, Andrew and Hannah JONES, both of Ebensburg, married Thursday last by
Rev George ROBERTS (Thursday, 27 Jun 1833)
GITTENS, Christopher, son of William of near this place, died Thursday, 10th
inst, of influenza, aged 25 years (Thursday, 19 Jan 1832)
GITTENS, Roger, died Monday last at the home of his brother William GITTENS,
near Ebensburg, aged 55 years. He had lately emigrated from Wales with his
wife and two children. He had two children left in Wales (Thursday, 18 Aug
1831)

GRIFFITHS, Ann, wife of Griffith GRIFFITHS of near this place, died Monday
morning last. Left 8 small children (Thursday, 08 Dec 1831)

last, 31st ult, by Rev Maurice M JONES (Thursday, 10 Sep 1835)

woman, she died after a short sickness (Thursday, 29 Dec 1831)
