ELLIOT, Benjamin Washington, son of James Esq of Armagh, died Wednesday
morning, 01 Feb 1837, aged 20 y and 14 d, of pulmonary disease, after a
considerable length of time (Tuesday, 21 Feb 1837)
EVANS, Elizabeth, formerly of Ebensburg, wife of John R, died near Ebensburg,
Wednesday, 8th inst, after a severe illness (Thursday, 16 May 1833)
EVANS, Esther, wife of John J, died Sunday evening last, near Beula, in her
66th year. She was one of the first settlers in this part of Cambria County.
She and her husband had resided many years in Beula, now an abandoned town.
She had been living on a farm in the neighborhood of her former residence.
Buried in Beula Graveyard on Tuesday, 20 Aug, attended by a very large number
of friends and neighbors. (Thursday, 22 Aug 1833)
EVANS, Evan, of this place and Mary DAVIS, daughter of John, from near this
place, married Thursday last at Ebensburg by Rev Thomas E THOMAS (Thursday,
17 Jan 1833)
EVANS, Richard, of the Summit, and Jane LLOYD, daughter of John Esq of
Ebensburg, married Saturday last at Ebensburg by Rev Benjamin DAVIS (Tuesday,

FENLON, James, of Munster, merchant and Mary LANNERGAN of Pittsburgh, married

FINDLAY, James of Wheatfield Twp, Indiana County died Thursday night last. He
drowned in the canal near Rogers' Mill. He was an old inhabitant of that
