Kathleen,
St. Brigid's is in Lilly and there is a cemetary there as well. I don't see
your folks listed. In the very early days (pre-1844) Loretto's St.
Michael's church tended to be the closest for Lilly folks to attend church.
Prince Gallitzin also used to act in a missionary capacity for the other
areas as well. In 1844 St. Aloysius Gonzaga was in Summit (now Cresson).
Many of my Lilly ancestors were married, etc. there.
I see a Hannah Murphy born to Edward and Margaret (baptised at St. Michael's
in Loretto). Born 10-25-1819 bapt 5-27-1827 godparents: Jacob Turner/ Anna
Howell, wife of Thomas. I see no Patrick McNamee listings in the pre-1849
listings for the local Catholic Churches.
