The Agricultural Schedule (sometimes referred to as
"nonpopulation census schedules") counts farms, gathering
information about crops and livestock. It's keyed to the Population
Schedule, and provides detailed information for everyone described as a
Farmer in the census. Since the majority of America's population was
rural until fairly recently, your ancestor probably appears in an
Agricultural Schedule. The schedule doesn't include family information,
but it can be used to learn about your ancestor's farm.
