Dear Listers,

I am looking for John Thur. He was married to Mary Jacobs and had a son
named John Stephen, (b ~1903). John Thur died after 1903 and Mary remarried
a Michael Kacmar. These folks lived in Barnsboro at least after John Thur
died. I am not sure when but the Kacmars changed their names to Kachmar. I
am also unsure if Michael Kachmar officially adopted John Stephen as he went
by John Stephen Kachmar. I have SS-5 records for many Kachmars some are not
mine, but John Stephen's brothers both say they were born in Barnsboro,
Cambria County, and their parents are Mary Jacob(s) and Michael Kachmar. I
also have Michael & Mary's Naturalization papers, but was unable to make any
sense out of them so not sure if I have the right ones.

All help is greatly appreciated and willing to share any info I have
collected.
