All,

Greatly appreciate this topic and the many inspiring quotes and poems
about our ancestors. My interest in genealogy is credited to my
Grandmother who with infinite patience and kindness compiled ancestral
photo albums for ALL her descendants in 1976. The album has photos of
all my maternal GG Grandparents and even one of two GGG Grandparents.
She died in 1990 but I will forever cherish these words that she wrote
in the inside cover of the album:

A Chinese Proverb worth remembering-
"To forget one's ancestors is to be a brook without a source, a tree
without root".
