The Union Press Courier merged with the Barnesboro Star to become
Star-Courier.
The Union Press Courier was microfilmed by the previous publisher years ago.
Unfortunately no copies were made - just the master copy which is in the
possession of the present publisher. There were no "service" copies made,
just the master.
Depending upon your specific time frame, you might want to consider
researching the Northern Cambria News, Mountaineer Herald, Johnstown
Tribune, or Johnstown Democrat. Sometimes the Altoona newspapers carried
news of the area.
I trust this will help somewhat.

A while back a note was posted that the Union Press-Courier has merged with
another local newspaper. I have lost the name and location of the new
newspaper. Also Where can microfilm of past issues of the Union
Press-Courier be found? Does anyone have answers to these questions?
Thanks, Kenny Stallard
