Guess I'll throw in a little on the Miller topic and see if anyone knows
anything about a David Miller. He was deeded land from Michael Hay in
1830. I question if he may, in some way, be connected to a Nancy Miller
(census shows her birth in Somerset Co.) that married David Hay.

I might further add that another piece of property was deed from Michael
Hay to Tobias Lewis about a month later. This document was signed in
the presence of John Slick and I'm questioning the possibility that the
Barbara Hay Slick buried in Sandy Vale Cemetery was John's first wife
and might be a daughter of Michael Hay. Any information welcome.
