Susan, I didn't even think of looking at the library! Never dreamed they'd
have someone to look up things in the newspaper or city directory. Yes, I
will surely ask them for the obituary for the woman I believe to be my great
grandmother. That should really help a lot, if they find it.
I wonder if there are business listings for Gustave Kriston's steamship
travel agency and clothing store? I wonder what year? Gosh, I wish I could
get up to Johnstown. There's a treasure chest sitting there, I just know
it. I'll be there are advertisements or something in the paper for his
business, too, but who knows what it was called? And when the Titanic went
down, I wonder if reporters came to him to ask the steamship ticket seller
to comment on the tragedy? Okay, next summer's vacation.....Johnstown!
(I'll bet the wee ones will love that! What? No theme park?")
