Subject: [PACAMBRI] Johnstown Arts Center aka STUTZMAN Log House

Hello Listers,

An article in the Johnstown Tribune 8/14/1977 provides background on the
subject Art Center detailing how it was one of five log houses buit in the
Johnstown area by Abraham Stutzman a Dunkard bishop and his wife Sarah.

It appears there is a very good chance this Abraham is the brother of my
GGGrandfather Jacob Stutzman b 1810 m. Lydia Hildebrand.

My Jacob had a brother, Abraham b. 1807 and according to Abraham's son Abraham
(author of "History of Cambria County Stutzman Clan") Abraham b. 1807 m.
Sarah Schrock.

Can anyone confirm that the Log House builders wife Sarah and my Abraham's
wife Sarah are one and the same -- a Schrock?

By the way, if anyone needs a copy of the above Stutzman Clan History I can
mail it out.
