Hi List,

I have a question about naturalization. I think I
understand the process: first there is a declaration
of intent filed and then five or so years later it's
is finalized. My question is where are these papers
filed? In my case my gg grandfather arrived in
Baltimore from Germany and proceeded directly to
Johnstown. Would these documents likely be on file
with the Cambria County Clerk's office and, if so what
information is needed to request them?

I tried to figure this out on my own, but all I did
was confuse myself! Any help from your own experiences
would be greatly appreciated.
