I've uncovered more information about my MANGUS line and wonder if
anyone has any links:
WILLIAM and REBECCA (also spelled Rebecka) F. MANGUS (he was born in PA
about 1807, she was born in PA about 1811 and both sets of their
parents, names unknown, were born in PA); George and Rebecca resided on
Main Street in Millville Borough (which later became Iron Street in
Minersville) in 1880. Rebecca died at the age of 80 on January 22,
1892.
GEORGE and NANCY JANE MANGUS (he was born in PA about 1839 and she was
born in PA about 1842); in 1800, George and Nancy Jane were also living
on Main Street in Millville Borough
George and Nancy Jane had the following children:
REBECCA (or Rebecka) F. MANGUS (born about 1869 died at age 23);
WILLIAM W. MANGUS (my paternal great-grandfather) (born May 3, 1872,
married the former Margaret Sheehan/Sheaghen on Oct. 21, 1897 and died
Dec 2, 1942);
SARAH MANGUS (born about 1876, later married to JOHN LAURENCE, died
sometime after 1942);
NELSON MANGUS (born about 1878 and may have died in 1935); and
LUCY ANN MANGUS (born in 1880 and later married to a Mr. BROWN, died
sometime after 1942).
Any links would be appreciated. Thanks, Debbie (near Philadelphia)
