I am doing research on my family in the Cambria area: I have very little information at this time because I have not broken that fourth generation barrier on these lines which seems to open up so many doors.

I have the following information basically from cemeteries. I have written for death certificates, but have not yet received them and do not know if they will provide any information.

Donald Edward Walk, Sr. with a brother named Guy and a sister Thelma worked in the mine at Dunlo, b. 27 April 1904, died from miner's lung 27 April 1969 residence in Dunlo, burial at Dunmyer Cemtery in Salix. His parents were Richard D. Walk b. 1880 d. 1938 and Sarah Pearl McDonald (or variation) b. 26 June 1887, d. 15 March 1971. Sarah went by name Pearl remarried at Martin, buried under S. Pearl Walk. Both buried in Dunmyer Cemtery.

Donald's wife was Florence Emma Michaels b. 4 November 1905, d. 23 February 1970 from cancer. Her resident was in Dunlo. She is buried in Dunmyer. Her parents were Thomas Vincent Michaels b. 2 September 1873, place of birth Strongstown, Pa., d. 13 April 1962, coronary occulsion, resident of Johnstown and
Mary Margaret Deyarmin (or variation Dearmin) b. Indiana County, Pa., d. 29 January 1947, from pneumonia both are buried in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, Pa.

I have additional information on the Michaels line, but would appreciate anything on these family names.
