how about Celestine?, I've seen that one several times

I only have three generations of Howells, unsure of where Thomas was born, possibly England, he was possibly Quaker, but presumably his wife Ann Crosby was Catholic, they belonged to St Michael's. Most of those with the Howell surname were later in Blair Co.

1816 Thomas and Ann / Thomas and Sara have 6 of their children baptized at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Loretto, PA.

In 1880 his daughter, Hannah, listed her father as born in Eng.

Need to do deed search in Blair Co.
Could find no deeds for Thomas Howell in Cambria Co., PA
Two different wives are listed in the baptism records of the children. Perhaps Thomas was married to a Sarah about 1800. Then about 1809 he married Ann Crosby.
There are lots of Quaker Howells in Chester Co., PA, but I have been unable to locate Thomas.
