Many thanks for your response and for the information about the searchable catalogues, which will come in very useful.
Regarding - Another reference to a document is on page 101 as follows
(b) The geneology here given of the descendants of Evan Robert Lewis
is from supposedly several years older than those by Cadwaladr Evans
(1797) and is in the possession of the Historical Society of
Pennsylvania, bound in a MS. Volume of the Genealogical Society's
"Collections", marked "Some Records Relating to Radnor Meeting."
I have recently been in touch with The Historical Society of Pennsylvania and all they have in their collection is a photocopied transcript of this document with a note attached stating "inserted by persons unknown ". Therefore the original document is in someone else's possession.
I would very much like to track down the original document to check that there have not been any transcription errors or omissions which would help me to solve a few problems which I have tracing my ancestors.
