Richard, sorry about the Elizabeth,
Just a real quick glance at the Marriage Licenses of Caroline County,
Marriage Licenses, 1774-1815, there are many other Boons mentioned. So I'd
certainly start there and take a name[s] of other Boons and research them,
I'm sure you can find Elizabeth's family by doing this.
Just for an example I found the following, and there were many more:
William Fisher m Keziah Boon
Joseph Boone m Tilly Mason
Richard Keene m Henrietta Boon
From the looks of this list, Elizabeth is from a family of Boons that have
been in this area for sometime.
Did you pull census for Caroline Co., looking for a family with a dau
Elizabeth? Prior to her moving she may have lived in her families home, or
her new husbands family home. Around her birth year and up.
My search at genealogylibrary includes the book, by Sparker, and it had no
hits on Nathan/Nathaniel Monticue.
And the Boone Society web site, well all of the members that run the site
are on the Boone list.
President, etc. The Boone Society not only researchs Daniel's family but
other Boon/Boones as well. It's not strictly Daniel Boone. The society has
a newsletter, THE COMPASS, that comes out quarterl, and they invite people
to put a query in regarding the family you are researching. So I encourage
you to join the Boone list.
One more thing, you might think about purchasing books for that co., land
records, court records. There are many ways you can figure this out. It
depends upon your own dedication, and it might take a while, but it can be
done.
Good Luck,
Shirley
