I am seeing more information on the family of Elizabeth DuBREE, who married Job REYNOLDS on June 14, 1810. She was born on April 18, 1787 (I do not have documentation for either of these dates - they were passed on to me by a family member). I believe her parents were John DuBREE and Lydia___. But I have found no evidence of John and Lydia anywhere. I believe they were married in Delaware, where Job was teaching school. But by 1815, they lived in Lancaster County, PA, where they remained until at least 1830. In 1816, Job was dismissed from Eastland Preparatory meeting, but there is no indication that Elizabeth was dismissed at the same time. By 1840, they were living in Armstrong County, where they lived until their deaths.
The only evidence of any Elizabeth DuBREE that I have been able to find is a will for John BISSELL, dated 1805, which lists an Elizabeth DuBREE as the daughter of Joseph DuBREE. But the only DuBREE in Lancaster County was Absalom DuBREE.
Has anyone done any research on the DuBREE family. There were groups of DuBREE's in Bucks County and in Philadelphia, but I have been unable to make a connection.
Thanks!
