I've heard that Tacy was sometimes a nickname, but I didn't intend to
imply that it was always that. I should have said it was a "common
name" in those days, instead of saying it was a common nickname. I
agree with Karen. My point was that a girl at that time was more likely
to be called Tacy than Stacy.
