Marg, someone else mentioned that Tacy could be a nickname for Letitia.
That seems like an especially good possibility if your relative was
called Lou Tacy (which sounds somewhat like Letitia). It wouldn't
apply, of course, if you're sure her name was Lucinda. Names often go
through interesting changes. My husband had two ancestors known as
Callie Donna, but we finally realized that the original name for both
was Caledonia.
