Hi Jamie
Didn't find any mention of John, but did find mention of Jacob Simcocke in my
info...Hope it is of some help...perhaps a clue...
"Ball Cousins" by Margaret B. Kinsey (c) 1981 pg 13,14
Chester County records show that John Roades aclnowledeged a deed to Arron
James for 240 acres of land lying in West Towne, the deed bearing the date
12th 1 mo 1699/1700. Shortly before that, on 8 1 mo, 1699/1700 Jacob Simcocke
and Rebecca Harry acknowledged a deed to John Roades for two tracts of land
lying in te township of Marple. This was the plantation to which John Roades
moved and the land stayed in the family for hundreds of years.
One good place to start looking for passenger lists:

Find Your Ancestors</A>
Ancestry.com has passenger lists, but is a paid subscriber site
Phone your neighborhood public library. They may offer Ancestry Plus which
you may use online from home. All you need is your library card ID number.
Some public librarys also have Heritage Quest for the use of their patrons...
Your local Family History Library also has ship lists on film. To find one
near you go to:

Click on family history Centers, fill out address form and a center near you
should come up. You can also click search and search for your ancestor (s)...
Good luck with your search..
