Yes, that's a definite start,
Ann, Thnaks so much! Humph, never heard of Orlando, OH where is it,
North/south/east/ west? Not in the east that I know of , but am
discovering more more that I don't from Northeastern OH as well!
Grinning thankful Ann, , Cathy

Sorry, but I am not an "expert", but still very much a student of
life.
The Hinshaw Encyclopedia of Quaker Records are available in
Orlando, Ohio,
Earlham at Richmond, Indiana, Swarthmore in PA, to name a
few. You might wish
to subscribe to the Rootsweb Quaker List and send a query for the names you
are searching. The Quaker Corner is another
source. The surname lists are also
very helpful.

Anne, I for one, am
glad to hear the records are out there, how they helped,
but could you
list some of them online here, so we all know where they're
located what's
there, perhaps specific books names! I've never been
anywhere, as yet,
would appreciate an "EXPERT" to name the places
books.
Perhaps
whenI've nailed down the places, after finding out which relatives are
Quakers,
of which Embree/McKain are, I've been told, then proceed to where the
bigger
records are.
I'm
confused on the basics. HOw to find them?! And
sure I'm not the only
one. Please share on that!
