I just found this in the Cecil County Magazine and thought some of the
members of this list might be interested in the celebration of the 300th
anniversary of the Brick Meeting House in Cecil County, Maryland. It says
on Saturday, September 29th from 10 to 4 and Sunday, September 30th from 9
to 2, theyve planned a family celebration of history, speakers, displays,
food, demos, oxen cart rides, etc. at Brick Meeting House Rd, Calvert. The
phone numbers listed are: 410-658-6850 or 717-529-1263.
This might be a great chance to check out the tombstones in this old
cemetery for those Quakers who lived near the Maryland line or moved across
it.
