Subject: [PA-QUAKERS] My PA Quakers, et al. BEALS/BALES

Right now I'm going on the probability that my immigrant Quaker ancestor, at
least in this line, was John Beals (probably the immigrant, definitely my
ancestor). This was the John who married Mary Clayton in Chester Co., Pa. in
1681. John is believed by some to have been the son of Thomas Beals of
Wallsworth, County Glourchestire, England. What I'm hoping to find is a
connection between my John, and/or his possible father, Thomas, and the
earlier immigrant John Beal who arrived in Mass. in 1638 at the age of 50
and died in Mass. in 1688 at the age of 100. So, my question is, does anyone
know if the Mass. Beal(s) ever moved to Pa?

If you want to take a look at my homepage to see what I have in the
Beals/Bales line, it's at http://www.2xtreme.net/repling. I haven't added
Thomas as John Beals, Sr. father yet because I'm not convinced, but I do
have lots of descendants in there, Bales being the #2 most numberous surname
in my file at this time.

One other question;does anyone know if the Eblings of Berks Co, Pa. were
Quakers?
