Seeking any information on Patrick (H?) WHELAN and Alice (O’SHEA) WHELAN

Patrick- b. Nov 1881 in Ballynagoul, County Waterford, d. Nov 1964 in Somerdale, New Jersey
Father’s name- Michael, Mother’s name-Mary Anne MEADE

¨ arrived in Philadelphia in 1905 on the “Merion” which left from “Queenstown”
Manifest indicates he planned to stay his sister Alice White (c/o Mrs. Kate Quinn at 99 Morrell St. Phila.)
¨ married Alice O'SHEA in 1906 (in Philadelphia)
¨ lived on Cabot Street and was a member of the Gesu parish
¨ was active in helping other Irish immigrants settle in U.S. (Phila and Baltimore)
¨ had a total of five sons with Alice
¨ traveled back to Dungarvan several times to visit (Alice gave birth to Augustine during a visit in 1911. Augustine was baptized at St. Mary’s in August, 1911. It appears Patrick and Alice were visiting the O’Shea side of the family when Augustine was born.)
¨ after death of Alice, married Mary Comey in 1926, had two more sons and moved to Southern NJ (Camden County)

Alice- b. approx Nov 1884 on Fair Lane in Dungarvan, County Waterford, d. 1918 in Philadelphia (during flu epidemic), Father’s name-Patrick, Mother Mary (Heany) O’Shea, had several siblings: John, Patrick, Thomas, Bridget, Mary, William, Margaret, James, Catherine, Ellen, Honora, Anna.

Either Patrick or Alice:
¨ had some cousins in Maryland in the (around 1950s) by name Patrick and Mike Duggan/Dugan. (Patrick Duggan returned to Ireland.)
