There is a story in my family about William M. Hall. William b. 1866 in Texas(?). One story is that he shot and killed a man. His mother begged him to leave in fear of him being hanged. He left and changed his name to William M. Hall. Story #2, is that he was an outlaw. On his deathbed, he supposedly confessed to being an outlaw. The name Issac does come up. Also, there is na Issas Brown Smith that was around this family. I have photos of these people. William supposedly met his wife, Mary Ellen Light Robinson in Kansas. Story is he and an aquaintance rode into town firing their six-shooters. William and his wife lived in Kansas (Silverdale) and Oklahoma. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Sarah
