OLD TIME BANDIT MEETS THE PRESS
May have been late 60' early 70's either New York or Pa paper.
" J. Frank Dalton, in bed, who claims to be Jesse James, talks to reporters on his arrival in New York. With him are two of his witnessess, Brushy Bill Roberts, 90, center, who claims to have been a member of the James Gang, and Col. James R. Davis, 109 who says he was US Marshall for the Cherokee Nation. Dalton says history incorrectly recorded his death in 1882 when the victim of Bob Ford's gun was actually another man."
Hmmm. Does not tell who that man was. Thought someone may be interested in this.
