Subject: Hoagland, Melvin Wm and Genevieve Robina - m.20 Sep 1940 Oregon(likely Umatilla County)

Seeking info about Melvin William HOAGLAND and wife Genevieve Robina (nee
KRYGER) who were married on 20 September 1940 in Oregon (likely Umatilla
County). They were living in Stanfield OR when Genevieve's father, William
Adolphus KRYGER died in Hermiston, OR on May 3, 1962. When they were married
in 1940, Melvin was 32 years old (born est 1908) and Genevieve was either 28
or 29 years old (born est 1912-1913).
Can anyone help me find if this couple are still living? or when/where they
died? did they have any children?
A kind list member found the marriage record for Melvin and Genevieve for me
and the death record for Genevieve's parents, but this couple were not
listed in the Index to Oregon death certificates when she checked in 2003 -
so either they were still living or had moved away.
I haven't been able to make any progress in my search for them in the last
few years, and would be very grateful for help tracing this family.
Genevieve's father and my grandmother were brother & sister.
BACKGROUND
KRYGER: Genevieve was the daughter of William A. KRYGER and Robina Lydia
SISSON who were married 8 Sept 1908 or 1910 in Snohomish, WA - and she had
one sister, Katrena/Katrina (likely Willa or Wilma second name) - married to
a Ray MORTIMER or MORTIMORE. Ray and Katrina MORTIMER / MORTIMORE were
living in Clarkston, Idaho in 1962.
HOAGLAND: There are other men named Melvin Hoagland listed in various
Census records in various states, but we haven't been able find any info yet
about this Melvin HOAGLAND or his family - and have had no replies yet to a
similar posting last month on the HOAGLAND surname list.
