Greetings and best wishes for the holidays to all!

Now that the holidays are here, we all get a little busier and perhaps
don't spend as much time at the computer as usual, but perhaps the best
gift we could give someone would be a link or clue to that elusive
ancestor, so I think a roll call is in order. There are a couple of rules,
though:

--The subject line should contain enough information to make it useful,
i.e., at least the locality / surname(s) you're interested in and if
possible a date to set the time frame. A subject line that says just "Roll
Call" is not sufficient. If you've really hit a brick wall, using a subject
such as "Looking for Information on John Doe Smith" is fine.

--There is to be no flaming or personal attacks. If the information you
have doesn't agree with the information someone else posts, you're welcome
to discuss the differences on the list but do it in a civil manner.

The purpose of the roll call is to share information about our families
with others, so if you have information to add to or questions about a roll
call posting, feel free to join the discussion.

Now, back to the turkey!
Beth
