I am researching the John E. Jones Family, who lived in both Union and
Umatilla Counties. This is what I have:
John Emery Jones, b. abt. 1836- MI, d. 18 May 1890, Elgin, Union Co.
married Irene Hannah INGRAHAM, b. 1852 St. Joseph Co. MI, d. 26 Sept.
1904, Island City, Union Co.
Their children:
1. Herbert J. Jones
b. 2 July 1878, Weston Twp. Umatilla Co.
2. Cora Belle Jones
b. 6 Oct. 1880, Weston Twp. Umatilla Co.
3. Stella Irene Jones
b. 25 Feb. 1886, Echo, Umatilla Co.
4. Frank D. Jones
b. 14 April 1889, Weston Twp. Umatilla Co.
John was a Civil War veteran.
