Hi Terry,

My name is Janet Mancini and I am currently researching Children's Homes. I along with my twin brother, John, was placed in one in Uniontown in 1957 lived there for 11 months. We were then adopted. But where is the Kinmonts Children's Home located? Your sort of doing what I would like. This has become my passion, these Children's Homes. There are alot of people out there searching fro this part of their lives and I have been able to help.

I researched this home and found a multitude of information that was never thought about before. This home was in existance from 1916 - 1958. Alot of children went through this home. I am also gathering stories from others that lived there.

Who ran this home?

Please email me at . I will share more of my story.

Janet
