I am looking for information about the Children's Home Society of Denver
Colorado. My father was placed for adoption with the Society and adopted
in 1907. The Society no longer exists, at least under that name. I
presume that it either closed or merged with another agency. Children's
Home Societies in other states tell me there is no connection with the
Colorado CHS. The similarity of names leads me to suspect, however, that
there was a connection, perhaps a national organization, at one time.
Any information, suggestions or leads will be greatly appreciated.
