Hi All,
New to the list, so hope I'm doing things right.

Looking for Bartholomew Tiernan, & his brother Richard, both were at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Orphanage Home for Boys, North Hyde Lane, Heston, Middlesex.

Both boys were transferred to St. Mary's from St. Pancras, aged 6 & 10 in 1877, & both appear on the 1881 census at the home.

I have been advised by the Catholic Childrens Society, & they think that the St Pancras refers to the Poor Law Board of Guardians in the Camden District of London.

I would like to find out where they were born, it says London on the census, but family believe they were born in Ireland.

Grateful for ANY info received, or to be pointed in the right direction to look next.

Thanks in advance,
Regards ,
Robert John Tiernan.
