To All Whom It May Concern:

Please be informed that you can now search part of
“The DESCRIPTIVE & HISTORICAL REGISTER
of Enlisted Soldiers in the U.S. Army,”.... for free at:

The Buffalo Barracks Historical Web Site
[ http://www.buffalonet.org/army ]

This is an outstanding web site which includes the records
of over 1,650 soldiers from all States and Territories
who either served at, enlisted at, reenlisted at, or were discharged at
the short lived Buffalo Barracks federal military post,
between 1835 and 1846. Many of the men listed fought in the
Florida Indian Wars, the War with Mexico, and then the Civil War.

Perhaps you have an ancestor who was at the Buffalo Barracks?
Discover how tall he was; the color of his hair and eyes; his age;
where he was born; and even the complexion of his skin.....and more!

Best regards,
Cliff Williams
