Steve Hill asks about my proposed One Place Genealogy book:
>what contributions do you require?<

Your name, postal address, email address, and web address if you have one.
(I much prefer to be able to publish a postal address, as it will be a
printed book as well as on the web, but say if you prefer not to have it
published.)

General description of your studies (some one-placers have similar studies
for several places in one area). Make the description as long as you like,
specially if you have no web site.

List of places and counties they are in, with details of the studies of
particular places.

I don't intend to publish phone numbers (except for studies available in
libraries, museums, etc) but it would be helpful to have phone numbers so I
can contact you - e.g. if email address changes.

I will be publishing the book in October - I will publish it myself. I have
a very wide definition of one place genealogy or one place studies - I
would rather publish descriptions of a variety of styles of study. So my
criteria are:
Study one place (or a group of places) in the U.K. and Ireland;
Have available information useful to family historians
Provide access in some way and answer email or pre-paid queries. Access can
be by published book, article, material deposited in a library, etc so the
"answer" may be how to obtain the information.

studies yet!)
