Hello folks,

Index of One-Place-Studies

I keep a list of all One-Place-Studies in England, you can browse
this on my website at:
http://www.wirksworth.org.uk/a43-ops.htm
This list includes OPS with and without a website. I have 91 OPS
sites so far.
IF YOU KNOW OF an OPS which is NOT on this list, please send me
details and I will add it to the list.
Please send details of:
County, Placename, web URL(if any), name of researcher, researchers e-mail
address.
For example, I run a One-Place-Study in Derbyshire, so my entry is:
Derbyshire, Wirksworth, http://www.wirksworth.org.uk, John Palmer,
<>
The quick definition of an OPS given on the Index is:

ONE-PLACE-STUDIES research ALL surnames and local history within
a limited area. Some have websites. Most OPS are on-going, so vary
greatly in the amount of information available. If you run an OPS or know
of one not on this list please contact John Palmer with details.

Hoping to hear from you about your One-Place-Studies.

Best wishes,

John Palmer, Dorset, England
