Oh, you've rought up an interesting connection that may tie to my brick wall.
I ave an O'Leary Kane connection that begins in Cork. My GGGParents were
Daniel Kane (spelling changes to encompass every possible variety) who
married Julia Dugan. Thier daughter Mary Kane was born in Cork in 1858. The
family had other children, including at least: Daniel, Dennis and Julia. Not
sure the last were born in Cork.
They immigrate to South Wales, GLA and MON.
Mary Kane married Michael Leary in 1875 Rhymney, Tredegar, Wales.
Micahel is the son of Thomas Leary, born 1824 Cork. He was married to
Catherine Downey, also from Cork, landed in Wales.
Any thoughts appreciated. Trying to make that Cork connection..
Peac to all,
Bonnie
