Hi Kathy,

Where, geographically are you finding this Qet. If it's an upland area bear
in mind that in such areas where there was surviving Brythonic dialect 'quh'
was often used to represent 'w'. That would give you an abbreviation of
'Wet' after translation. You are now no wiser, but considerably better
informed.
