Hi,
'The socks heeling thin, retina's seeing dim,'
I misused apostrophes: How the 'ell did it slip
forward there! LOL.
So, should be: ''The sock's heeling thin, retinas seeing dim,'
Well, well, what do you expect after me steaming at a
sumpless sink, fetching & carrying from the Well! Penalty
for disturbing the nesting Wren? She sounds like a
Hummingbird when passing my cheek & ear!
Her nest is about 30" above the water in the wall of the Well,
which is in a stone walled-earth & granite capped chamber in
an excavated rock outcrop. Nightingale here & in the Orchard
today, to the best of my knowledge, the second time in 7 yrs.
Were some higher up the mountain around my earlier home in
the mid 80's.
Very best wishes.
Regards,
Mikey.
